Nashville has become one of my absolute favorite places to visit. This was my second visit and I got say I can't wait to go back! They call it Nashvegas for a reason! We made it a couples trip and brought our friends with us this time to explore. My husband and I love country music. You can walk into any bar on Broadway and hear some great talent. We took off work early on a Thursday and drove 7 hours to Nashville. My husband's best friend works at Ole Red in Nashville. It's Blake Shelton's new bar and just opened a couple of months ago. We got in late around 8pm. We decided to try Top Golf Nashville on our first night.
It was so much fun! I realized how bad I sucked at golf, but it was a great way to start the weekend off. You have to hit your ball into one of the highlight areas to get the most points. We will for sure check this out again!
Next we made it downtown to check Luke Bryan's 32 Bridge on Broadway in Nashville. Luke Bryan is my all time favorite country singer so it was a must that we stopped in first. The place has 6 floors with an awesome roof top view.
The next morning we went to breakfast at the Loveless Cafe in Nashville, TN. It was a bit of a drive but it was so worth it. I am telling you these biscuits were to die for! The jams were amazing too!!! The cafe was decked out for the holidays. We only had to wait about 15 minutes which was a perfect amount of time to check out the gift shop. The food was amazing!
You get this plate when you sit down at your table before you even order your real food!
I love fried okra so it was must to get for lunch. We live in Illinois so when we head south we try to soak in all the Southern foods.
Next, we headed out to look at some street art. We went down to The Gulch to the wings. This was my must do in Nashville. This is located on 302 11th Ave S. Nashville, TN.
You got to go into all the boot stores and try on hats and Instagram it of course! If you don't dress the part were you even in Nashville!?!?
We checked out the roof top of Tootsie's for a bit and listened to some tunes.
We bar hopped all night on Broadway and took an uber home! We stayed out way past my bedtime.
The next morning we checked out some more street Nashville art. We went to both Nashville signs. These are located on 12th Ave South in Nashville.
The next day we had lunch at the Peg Leg Porker this place was legit. I think it might be one of the best BBQ joints I have ever been.
Just look at this mouth watering BBQ -
After lunch we went to YAZOO Brewing for a tour. Guys, this was one of my favorite things we did in Nashville. It cost $8 and it was the best $8 I spent. I am not into the IPA or how beer is made. I just went along for the ride for my husband. I am so glad we did this. The tour guide was hilarious and made it so fun. Plus the beer was pretty amazing. I became a fan. Put this on your TO do list in Nashville!
That night we went to the Mellow Mushroom for pizza. My husband and I are huge pizza lovers and this was by far one of the best pizzas we have had. It was the bomb!!
An amazing weekend in Nashville and loved trying these spots out!
